Thule  Roof Rack Review - 2015 Mazda 5

Today on our 2015 Mazda5, we'll be doing a test fit of the Thule Aero Blade Podium Roof Rack System, using part numbers THARB47 for the 47 inch aero blades, part number TH460R for the Thule Podium foot pack, part number THKIT3080 for the Thule Fit Kit here. As you can see, I've already got the front installed on the Mazda5 here. Let's go ahead and do the rear together. We'll come over here to our little white table, and I'm going to put the foot pad and the fit kit together on our aero blade. First thing we'll do is, let's go ahead and remove the end cap here on our aero blade. We'll just turn that over to get set up when we get that put together. Let's go ahead and grab our plate and our pad. more

Yakima Control Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Mazda 5- Video

Yakima Control Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Mazda 5

Today in our 2013 Mazda 5 we are going to be testing the Yakima control tower roof rack system with the 58-inch bar, part number Y00409, Y00214, Y00233 and Y00233 again. To begin our test fit we remove the black cover over our fixed mounting points and check the threads to be sure they are clean. We'll not take one of foot packs and place it by each of the four mounting locations. We'll now grab our four bolts on these bolts we'll want 3 regular washers and one black rubber washer. The rounded part will be facing down. We'll place it down through the foot of our rack, and thread it in to our fixed mounted locations. We'll snag it down to be sure we have no movement but we won't fully tightened it yet. more

Today on our 2013 Mazda5 we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Control Towers Roof Rack System using the 48" round bars, part numbers Y00408, Y00214, Y00233, and Y00233 again. To begin our test fit we'll remove the black covers over our fixed mounting points and check the threads to be sure they're clean. We'll now take one of our foot packs and place it by each of our four mounting locations. We'll now grab our four bolts. On these bolts we'll want three regular washers and one black rubber washer. The rounded part will be facing down. more

Speaker: Today on our 2013 Mazda5, were going to be test fitting the Thule Podium Roof Rack System using the 50 inch square bars. Well use part numbers THLB50, TH460 and THKIT3080. With our rack assembled according to the manufacturers instructions, well begin our test fit by removing the black plastic covers located over our fixed mounting points and thread in one of the silver studs. Well do this on all 4 locations. Well then take our 3 mm Allen bolt and tighten them down. Well then grab the front half of our rack and place it over our studs. I want to be sure that they go through the center of our foot pack and come out of the top. more

Thule AeroBlade Podium Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Mazda 5

Today on our 2013 Mazda5, we'll be test fitting the Thule Podium Roof Rack System using part numbers THARB47, TH460R, and THKIT3080. We'll begin our test fit by removing the black plastic tabs that cover up our mounting locations. We'll take our bolts from our fit kit and screw them into the fixed mounted holes. As we do this, we can go ahead and place the spacer over each bolt and tighten each one down using an Allen key. With out roof rack assembled according to the instructions, we'll go ahead and place the podium feet over top of our bolts. We'll secure those in place by installing our nuts and tighten them down using the included wrench. We'll grab our front load bar and place it onto the front part of our roof. In doing this, we want to go ahead and make sure that we have even bar overhang on each side of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2013 Mazda 5, We'll be test fitting the Thule Rapid Podium Roof Rack System using Part Numbers THARB47, TH460R, and THKIT3080. With our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin our test fit by removing the fix mounting covers over each mounting point. We'll then take our bolts and screw those into position. We'll use an allen key to tighten each one of those down. Then we'll go around and install our sleeves over each bolt. We'll take our front bar and place it onto the front part of our roof. We may need to adjust the feet to fit the fixed mounting points so that we have even bar overhang on each side. more

Today on our 2012 Mazda 5, well be test fitting the Thule Square Bar Podium Style Roof Rack System using part numbers THLB50, TH460, and THKIT3080. With our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions, well begin our test fit by removing the tabs that cover up our fixed point mounts on our vehicle. Then well take our bolts and screw them into position using an allen key to secure them. Well take our bolt sleeves and slide them over each bolt. Well grab our front bar and place it onto the front part of our roof making sure that the bolts go through the holes in the center of our foot packs. Well grab our rear bar and repeat this process. more

Today on our 2010 Mazda 5 well be test fitting a Thule Roof Rack System. Well be using the 47-inch Aeroblade Load Bars part number THARB47, the Rapid Podium Feet part number TH460R and the Fit Kit for our Mazda which is part number THKIT3080. We already have our bars put together according to the instructions so now were ready to mount them up to our vehicle. The first thing we need to do is remove the covers over the fixed points at all four corners of the vehicle. With the covers out of the way we can install our studs. Well thread our studs into the vehicle and tighten them down to the shoulder. more

Alright, today on this 2006 Mazda 5 we're going to do a test fit of Thule Roof Rack System. We're using the Thule Podium Roof-mounted Foot Pack and Thule Square Load bars part no. THLB50, TH460, THKIT3080. Okay to start off our test fit we're going to remove the covers for the 6 points that are on the roof. They basically just slide and we pop them up out of the way. Next we'll go ahead and start the threaded rod that comes with the fit kit from Thule into to the provided threaded holes in the roof. more

Today, on a 2006 Mazda 5, were going to do a test fit of a Thule Roof Rack System using the Thule Aeroblades part numbers THARB47, TH460R, THKIT3080. OK, were start off our test fit by getting the roof for the vehicle ready, were going to remove the caps that go on to the fixed points that are built into the roof . Basically they just slide them back and we can pop them up with a screw driver. Alright well go ahead and install the threaded rod that goes into the threaded fittings on the roof and also add the sleeve to it. With the Thule Roof Rack, loosely assembled according to instructions, were going to place it onto pins we just installed onto the roof. Now well go ahead and make sure that the bars are even from left to right. more
